Anaukh & Co began during a slower season of life.

While on maternity leave after welcoming my daughter, I found myself thinking more intentionally about the world she would grow up in. The books she would read, the words she would learn, and the things that would fill her playroom.

As I searched for beautifully crafted, aesthetic learning materials, I found no shortage of English alphabet cards and nursery prints. But when it came to Panjabi resources, the options felt limited (aside from a handful of small businesses doing meaningful work). There was very little that reflected the visual softness and intentional design I was drawn to.

It made me pause.

What would it look like to create learning tools that felt culturally rooted, yet calm and considered? Pieces that honoured heritage without feeling loud or overstimulating. Materials that could sit beautifully in a modern nursery while still carrying depth and meaning.

I began imagining the prints I would want on my daughter’s walls as she grows. The alphabet cards I would want her small hands to hold. The quiet pride of seeing her language and culture reflected in everyday learning.

Anaukh & Co was born from that space. A desire to create intentional products that celebrate our heritage through thoughtful design, muted colour palettes, and meaningful illustration.

Our brand carries memory, culture, and hope that children growing up today will feel seen in the smallest, most ordinary moments of learning.

Anaukh & Co is just beginning, but its intention is steady: to create educational pieces that are rooted in heritage, designed with care, and made to grow alongside our children.

Thank you for being here at the start!
